We had a great time this week at VBS. Lots of blessings. We had an awesome group of volunteers both from Centralia and from the PCA. We had twelve volunteers daily from Grace Church in Mechanicsville each day who were in charge of the games and a few helped out with crafts also. I would like to thank everyone involved for giving up their time, energy and love to help give the little ones who came each day a Christ filled experience. A special thank you to Keila and Josua for the awesome music and more. The children really enjoyed their time with them. Ms. Caroline Johnson was our VBS teacher and the children all loved her. I saw her show love and caring to all the children as well as helping out in the kitchen too. She sang with the children and encouraged them also. Thank you to Ms. Wanda and Ms. Nancy, Ms. Pearl and Mr. Russell who all did a amazing job of keeping everyone feed and happy with their delicious snacks each day. Thank you so much to all the ladies who donated to VBS snacks as well. Thank you so much to Mary as well who handled the nursery and her three guest each day with amazing patience and love. Thank you to Ms. Lynn and Ms. Sylvia who handled crafts this year with new and creative ideas that all the children enjoyed and appreciated with lot of help from Kevin Kometa. Ms. Lynn, I can’t thank you enough for all your help and support each day. Thank you to the Pastor who was there each day to give our opening prayer and support. Thank you to Mr. Russell who pitched in not only in the kitchen but also fixed many different things from the doors to the lights and entertained the little ones with a game of eye spy. Thank you so much to Ms. Jeanette and Ms. Gail who handled the registration desk each day with ease. That is not an easy task. Thank you Ms. Shirley who is not only an amazing mom but she helped out whereever she was needed. Thank you to Ms. Glendine who was there with us behind the scenes and helped me out quite a lot. We look forward to a new and great VBS next year. Thank you all again for volunteering to help and for your support.
